Jeff attended Gwinnett County public
schools, the 14th largest school system in the United States, the largest school system in the state of Georgia
and belongs to Central Gwinnett High School’s class of 1992. Jeff was involved with the boy scouts,
a recipient of the arrow of light as a cub scout, a student government officer and played football and baseball. Jeff grew
up in public housing and from there he lived in a trailer park. Jeff mowed lawns and sold newspapers from the age of
12 to earn money.During high school, Jeff worked as a shift manager for a large pizza delivery chain where he found his first
job earning $3.50 an hour at the age of 14. Shortly after high school Jeff became one of the youngest RGM’s
in the chain’s history. In 1995, Jeff worked for John Schnatter, founder of Papa Johns International Inc. where he was
an RGM of 5 different locations in metro Atlanta, including Emory University.
Jeff worked with his step father, Bryan Becker as a plumber’s
apprentice in the 1990’s during the housing boom in Georgia, which Time Magazine described as the fastest growing
area in human history. After being robbed delivering pizza in Orlando Florida and seriously injured from being hit in the
head with a baseball bat, Jeff abandoned working in the restaurant industry and focused on plumbing. Jeff lost most of his
hearing and now wears bilateral hearing aids from the assault as well as Noise Induced Hearing Loss from working (jackhammering
concrete). Jeff worked as a field supervisor for Prime Plumbing under Lance Hamley. In 2003, Jeff obtained his Journeyman
Plumbing License. Jeff traveled and was a General Plumbing Superintendent for several high rise building projects in Panama
City Beach and Destin Florida. Jeff completed projects in Tennessee and North Carolina. Jeff also attended Gwinnett Technical
College majoring in Air Conditioning Technology. In 2005 Jeff had joined the United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters
Local Union 72. In 2006, Jeff Superseded his Journeyman’s License with an unrestricted Master Plumbing License for the
State of Georgia. Jeff traveled to Las Vegas Nevada and spent two years working with the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 525
on the VDara at Project City Center (64 story high rise) and the Wynne Encore. Jeff studied Law at Kaplan University
while he lived in Las Vegas. While working at Hartsfield Jackson International Airport's Marriot Atlanta Airport Gateway
in 2009, Jeff switched his major in college to Business Administration specializing in Entrepreneurship. Jeff terminated his
affiliation with his union in Michigan after being denied work for an extensive amount of time. He then received his Plumbing
and Mechanical Contracting License in the State of Michigan as well as his Gas fitting licensure. Jeff is the executive director
of number1plumbing.com. Jeff became a Freemason in 2010 with Saginaw Lodge #77. Jeff and his family became members of the
First Baptist Church of Bridgeport in 2009 where his two youngest daughters received their baptism.
Jeff’s wife was the victim of a hit and run automobile
accident which has rendered her handicapped from a broken pelvis that has not healed after a year. Jeff is the founder of
S.W.A.T. 989, an autonomous neighborhood watch program that is independent from City Wide and Citizens Patrol. Jeff is very
detail orientated and educated in finance, accounting, macro & micro economics, as well as sociology which makes him a
good candidate to hold office. Jeff is an individual who knows what it’s like to be the victim of violent crime. Jeff
knows what it’s like to see his family suffer in horrible pain from crime. Jeff knows what it is like to live with cyclic
unemployment and he knows how to work hard for a living. Until now Jeff has never desired to work in the public sector because
he has always felt the need to put in a hard day’s work to receive a fair day’s pay and felt pride in being a
provider for his family. Jeff will not rest until our streets are safer, our schools perform better and
government micro-management of small businesses is eradicated. We need a smaller, smarter government. We need change that
really means a difference; we need Jeff!
